Dolpo Regoin Trek
Upper Dolpo Trek

Dolpa is a most remote and least developed district in Nepal. Although a few anthropologists and geographers had explored the region, the entire district was closed to trekkers until 1989 when the southern part of Dolpa was opened to organized trekking groups, Shey is still closed to foreigners. One story cites the reason for closure as the large-scale theft of statues from monasteries several years ago. It is possible to visit Tibetan-style “inner Dolpa” villages Tarap and at Phoksundo Lake, but most of the southern part of Dolpa is a region of Hindu influence.
Days Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02 Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03 Official work, Briefing, Preparation and Free.
Day 04 Kathmandu – Nepalgunj by Bus then transfer to Hotel.
Day 05 Nepalgunj – Juphal by flight and trek to Dunai, 2-½ hrs, O/N at tented Camp.
Day 06 Dunai – Tarakot 2800m.
Day 07 Tarakot – Tarap Khola or, Lohini 3200m. (Teaza).
Day 08 Tarap Khola or, Lohini (Teaza) – Dho Tarap 4040m. (Orar)
Day 09 Dho Tarap (Orar) Rest for observes the Village.

Day 10 Dho Tarap – Khani (Jhya Kongma).
Day 11 Khani (Jhya Kongma) – Tak (Chhulung Sumna).
Day 12 Tak (Chhulung Sumna) – Dau Village (Ting-Kyu).
Day 13 Dau Village (Ting-Kyu) – Shimen Gaon.
Day 14 Shimen Gaon – Saldang Village via Yangjer Gumba.
Day 15 Saldang Village – Namgum Phedi.
Day 16 Namgum Phedi – Shey Gompa.
Day 17 Shey Gompa rest for observation.
Day 18 Shey Gompa – Kang-La Phedi.
Day 19 Kang-La Phedi – Ringmo Village 3600m.
  EXIT RESTRICTED AREA
Day 20 Ringmo Village rests & explores surrounding Phoksundo Lake.
Day 21 Ringmo – Sepka 2700m.
Day 22 Sepka – Dunai, 6hrs. Then observes the Village.
Day 23 Dunail – Juphal 2 ½ hrs. And back packing etc.
Day 24 Juphal – Nepalgunj by flight then transfer to Guesthouse.
Day 25 Nepalgunj – Kathmandu by Bus & transfers to Hotel.
Day 26 Kathmandu free for personal activities.
Day 27 Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Jumla Rara Lake Trekking (Lower Dolpo)
Jumla & Rara lie in the remote Karnali region, north-west of Kathmandu. The region is made-up of long ridges covered with temperate forests and alpine pastures enclosing high valleys.This is the most popular trekking for trekkers for cultural point of view. Winters are cold, but the autumn season trekking is rewarded with a profusion of alpine flowers.
