This is a new trekking route but being more busy day by day. The Ganesh Himal is named after the Elephant-headed God of Good fortune. The Ganesh Himal can clearly be seen from Kathmandu valley. The Ganesh Range peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III and Ganesh IV) stand out like crystals, that is the "Great Himalayan Chain" forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Buri Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli River in the lower section.

If you don't have much time but are desirous to enjoy the culture of Tamang tribes, nature and scenarios of Himalayas, you can choose this route. It is just north wast from Kathmandu. A maximum period of 07-14 days is enough for the trekking to and from and Kathmandu.
