For those with only a few days to spare, the Ghorepani trek is a colorful short foray into the Annapurna region. This area north of Pokhara offers one of the most dramatic closes up views of some of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past icy waterfalls.
