Nepal Trekking

Trekking
British citizen H.W. Tilman became the first westerner to be given permission to walk Nepal’s mountains (Himalayas) in 1949. Then after thousands of travelers put their footsteps in the low land to the high Himalayan Peaks including the top of the world. Trekking in Nepal is not only the objective of walking from place to place, it is more a gradual way of experiencing Nepal’s diversity in terms of geography, peoples, religion & it’s art & culture. In earlier time to be a trekker & to complete the route you planned was not easy work because there were not the good trails we have these days. Also there was a huge lack of the equipment & manpower as well as the teahouses so popular on the trekking routes. We have come a long way in our trekking history so we can plan our trekking according to our requirements & budget.

A Trekking Day
06:15 Wake-up call with tea/coffee and a bowl of warm water for washing, and then we pack our luggage and daypacks. 06:45-07:00 Breakfast will serve. 07:30 start out on the trail at a comfortable pace (remember the length of the day trip is based on the distance that a porter can walk with carrying a load of 25 -30 kg.) 12:00-12:30 Hot lunch is served on the way. The lunch is prepared by our own excellent kitchen crew when taking the camping trek & in local teahouses when taking the teahouse trek. You have plenty of time to enjoy the landscape, take pictures or videos, or stop for a drink in a local pub house.
16:00 halt for camp. Teatime with tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuits and a lot of time to relax or visit the local people who are always pleased to chat..18:00-18:30 Dinner is served. Dinner always contains more soups.20:00-21:00 Early to bed early to rise ready to continue our trek

Types of trekking we are organizing

Camping: Fully organized with it's own kitchen crew. Porters carry all necessary things. It looks very adventurous & full of fun with lots of activities every single day. Over night you will sleep in tents. Everybody is kept busy and allocated work. . You can take the opportunity to see how our cook prepares the meal & if you or anybody else from the group would like to make a meal you are most welcome. This is our De-Lux Trek and consequently a little more expensive.

  Destinations

Tea House: This trek is organized with guides & necessary porters for the group. We take only personal things with us & we eat in local tea houses (inns) & stay in a lodge. These types of treks are only possible in a few areas, they are very popular with facilities, like food & accommodation on the way. It is less expensive than a Camping trek & easy to manage as well.
