Mt. Kailash and Lhasa Tour, Adventure Kailash & Lhasa Tour

Day 01: Early morning wake up call to begin our journey at 5:30 am Breakfast will be on the way to border at Dhulikhel, 30 km. east of Kathmandu. We arrive at the border at lunchtime then drive to Zhangmu 144 km. 6 hours.
Day 02: After breakfast drive to Nayalam. 40 km. 2 hours.
Day 03: After breakfast, we drive to Lake Paiku Tao (200 km.) for lunch and continue drive to Saga and overnight. 252 km. 8.5 hours.
Day 04: After breakfast, a scenic drive to Dongba (180 km.) and lunch there then continue drive to Parayang and overnight there. 185 km. 7 hours.
Day 05: After breakfast drives to Mayumla for lunch and continue drive to Hore. 280 km. 9 hours. Here we will be able to view Kailash Parbat & Lake Manasarovar for the first time. Overnight and dinner at a local guest house.
Day 06: Today we drive around Manasarovar and overnight at Jaidi or Chhyu Gumba & puja.
Day 07: After breakfast drive to Tirtha puri & sight seeing & Lunch then drives 75 km to Darchen & Overnight there. 3 hours
Day 08: Asthaparbat darsan and overnight Darchen.
Day 09: We begin our 53 km trek around Mt. Kailash. After breakfast we will drive for about 6/7 km.northwest of Darchan, where we will meet the trailhead of our Parikarma and trek to Dirapuk Gomba and camp there. 6 hours.
Day 10: Parikarma starts after breakfast. This is the most challenging day as we traverse the 18,599 ft. pass, Dolma-La, and for those people who are interested, can go to Gauri Kunda and later meet the remainder of the group for lunch then set up our camp site nearby the Zutulphuk Gompa. 9 hours.
Day 11: This is the last day of your trek. We return to Hore (Near Manasarovar).
Day 12: Drive back to Parayang. 280 km. 9 hours.
Day 13: Saga (252 km.) is our destination today. 185 km. 7 hours
Day 14: Drive to Tringri Sightseeing and O/N hotel

Day 15 Drive to Xigatse sightseeing O/N in Hotel.
Day 16 Lhasa sightseeing O/N in Hotel
Day 17 Lhasa sightseeing O/N in Hotel
Day 18 Drive to airport to fly to KTM

All visitors to Tibet require valid Chinese visa & a special Travel permit, which we can obtain only by joining tours, to organized travel agencies. Those who arrive in Kathmandu with a Chinese visa issued by Chinese Consulates outside of Kathmandu will find it useless for entry into Tibet. Visa regulations often change.

Diplomatic passport holders must get clearance from Beijing for travel into Tibet, which often takes long time. It is advisable to travel on non-diplomatic passports, if you have one.
We require at least 7 days notice to process your Tibet visa via Lhasa & at least 4 days in Kathmandu for the Chinese Embassy to handle your passport. Visa can be also issued in less than 3 days upon payment of visa argent fees.

Altitude Sickness:
People who have a chronic health problem should consult your doctor before making your travel plans. Take plenty of water & liquid in the trip. Make more rest as much as possible. Do not expose yourself to direct strong winds specially your head while you are crossing the pass. Take diamox against altitude sickness do inform your guide or team leader if you feel any kind of uneasy.

All the Visitors to Tibet are strongly recommended to make their insurance before start the trip that adequately covers for medical, emergency rescue expenses, trip cancellation or any other eventual mishaps. The company adequately insures all of our field staffs.

Clothing & other Accessories:
Warm clothing is required throughout the year but especially from October to April you need more warm. Some changes of clothes such as shirt, sweater, jackets & cotton inner linings with tops & bottoms any other personal support. Good walking boots and a pair of sandal. In addition water bottle, water purification tabs, chap stick, sun cream, flash light, dusk mask, medicine for common colds, headache, fever, stomach disorder & diamox.
