A spectacular flight and a jagged landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla [2840m]. After meeting the porters, we head up the Dudh Koshi Valley on a well-marked trail to our first camp near the river at Phakding. Most of the flights to mountain region are in the morning due to the strong wind flow in the afternoon, so same to Lukla as well and Guide will go with you from Kathmandu and Porters we arrange in Lukla in advance.
Day 03 : Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar 3440m, (6 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D)
We continue north following the Dudh Kosi river and on to Jorsale where we enter the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. From here it is a short walk to the confluence of two rivers, the lmja Drangpa (Imja Khola) and the Nangpo Tsangpo (Bhote Kosi) followed by a steep climb (for about 2hrs.) to Namche Bazaar, the main town in the Khumbu region. Have to cross about 6 bridges. Namche is a prosperous Sherpa town and an important trading centre with a weekly Saturday market.
Day 04 : Acclimatization explore around Khumjung 3780m. (4 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D).
Namche Bazaar explore around and overnight Namche Bazaar is tucked away between two ridges amongst the giant peaks of the Khumbu. Namche now boasts an abundance of lodges and souvenir shops. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day exploring around Khumjung 3780m. It is a nice and old village in the region and comparatively it is a big village. More than this we visit to Khunde Hospital and also the one hour walk up to the Everest View Hotel above Namche for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.
Day 05 : Namche Bazaar trek to Tengboche, 3860m, (6 hrs) and O/N lodge (B L D)
From Namche, the trail contours around the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Kosi. Now we get our first really good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, we descend steeply to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga. The village is an excellent lunch spot, and here we can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. Although tiring, the hike up the zigzag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. We stay near the monastery with Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam framed in the doorway of our guest house. Last part of walk is bit difficult.
Day 06 : Tengboche trek to Dingboche, 4410m, (6hrs) O/N lodge (B L D)
After breakfast we head up to Dingboche. On the way the Majestic Amadablam over shadows our day. On the way we meet a little Sherpa village called Pangbuche continue to Dingboche for overnight. Today we will be in different geography i mean we feel we are in Himalayan region and this day we really feel more close to mountains so people feel bit more tried than previous day and love to take more picture in every step so of course it might be less than 6 hours but we mentioned 6 hours.
Day 07 : Acclimatization around Dingboche , 4410m, trek up to Chhukung (4750m) (4.30hrs) O/N lodge (B L D)
Till Dingboche we walk for nearly 1 weeks already, slowly ascent in order to acclimatize well. We go slowly to Chhukung (4750m) and back. This is a last village of the route besides some commercial lodges ahead. Also this is a real important day to check themselves by the trekkers either they are fit to reach the destination of EBC and Kalapatthar or not as it is already in the elevation of 4750m. If there is no problem for every one and can explore around up to Chhukung and even some more they can build the confidents for the next day. After this, it is real Adventure and friends they are not much capable to support to each other except guide because they are feeling themselves tried one.
Day 08 : Dingboche trek to Labuche 4910m, (6 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Strenous /Adventurous
We continue up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache on the left. We then turn right and climb more steeply towards the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. At the top of this climb there are many stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest. The path then climbs gently along the glacier, to eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche. An Adventurous day.
Day 09 : Labuche trek to Gorakshep 5140m, (2 and half hrs) lunch and trek to Everest base camp 5380m and back Gorakshep O/N lodge (B L D)) Strenous /Adventurous
We continue our trek along the Khumbu Glacier and all the beautiful and completely different geography and reach to Gorakshep, the way from Lobuche to Gorakshep till Everest Base Camp is same type and we are really so close to glaciers and Himalaya. Lunch at Gorakshep. Walk to base camp and back would requires about 5-6 hours, following the Khumbu glacier, sometimes on moraine and sometimes on the glacier itself. The walk is especially interesting for the views of the 15-meters high series of ice, a feature peculiar to Himalayan glaciers. The base camp of the highest mountain in the world is mostly inhabited by several expeditions all over the world. Back to Gorekshep. Bit long and Adventurous day.Afternoon is free rest or explore around.
Day 10 : Early morning hike to Kalapattar (5500m) and back to Gorakshep 3 hrs, Gorakshep and trek to Dzonglha 4830m, ( 8 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Wake up early morning.
The sunrise colors begin to appear on Everest, we make our way to the top of one of the finest viewpoints in the Everest region, Kalapattar [5554m]. A best view point of the region and the place closest view of Mount Everest and more. Back to Gorakshep and take breakfast then continue to Today is downhill most of the way, as we retrace our steps to Duglha and descend to Pheriche. The Himalayan Rescue Association has a trekker’s aid post here and it is quite interesting to visit. Real Adventurous day.

Day 14 : Thame to Namche Bazar 3440m, (5hrs) O/N lodge (B L D)
Today the trails goes down in the beginning and their after almost the trails looks flat but still is slightly sown to Namche. This is very comfortable walk today.

From Namche the trail descends steeply by crossing Hillary bridge and small villages like Chamuwa, Thulo Gumela, Bangkar by following the same river of Dudh Koshi. Their after we reach and pass the village of Phakding (2610m).
