Dhaulagiri Trekking
23 DaysDhaulagiri (White Mountain), separated from the Annapurna region by Kali Gandaki Gorge (deepest in the world) includes some fifteen peaks above 7000mt. A few mountains which translate 'White Mountain', this is the biggest one in the world. The trekking in this area is relatively strenuous but the trekkers who are willing to spend their holidays with nature and natural surroundings full of peace and tranquillity choose this better "Off the beaten track" trekking destination.
After crossing Magdi Glacier and Dhaulagiri Base camp (4750m), you will approach to the French Pass (5360m) between the Mukut Himal and Tukuche Peak. Then, the colossal peaks of the Dhaulagiri range will surround you.
While you trek ahead crossing French Pass (the highest point of the trek) you come out into the Hidden valley. Then follow the trail leading Dhampus Pass, between Tukuche Peak and Thapa Peak. Tukuche route to Jomsom and Muktinath (Pilgrimage site for Hindu and Buddhist). Return Jomsom to board the flight to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.
