Along the way, you will witness dramatic landscapes, centuries-old monasteries, and timeless Himalayan culture. Upon your arrival, a representative from Manaslu Adventure Treks will warmly welcome you at the airport with a flower garland and ensure a smooth transfer to your designated hotel in the city. Once you check in and settle, the representative will provide a detailed program briefing, including an overview of your upcoming tour. If time permits, you can explore the local area on a short walk. This will allow you to acclimate to the environment and enjoy the surroundings. The day concludes with a special welcome dinner hosted at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine and get acquainted with fellow travelers and the Manaslu Adventure Treks team.
Today, after an early breakfast, you begin your spiritual and cultural exploration of Kathmandu Valley, home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, you visit the sacred Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill with panoramic city views. Then, you head towards Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Afterwards, you explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, showcasing centuries-old palaces, courtyards, and temples that reflect Nepal’s rich architectural heritage. In the afternoon, you take a scenic flight to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city known for its natural beauty and Himalayan views. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel, where you can check in and relax. In the evening, you can soak in the beauty of the lakeside and the scintillating Pokhara valley and stay overnight.
Today, you begin your day with an early morning flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, a breathtaking journey that offers spectacular aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Upon landing in Jomsom, a picturesque town nestled in the Kali Gandaki Valley, you have breakfast and prepare for the drive to Muktinath. The road to Muktinath is rugged yet scenic, passing through arid landscapes, traditional Thakali villages, and the world’s deepest gorge. After about 2 hrs drive, you arrive at the pious Muktinath temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. You can take ritual baths under the 108 water spouts and visit the eternal flame that has been burning for centuries. The temple’s spiritual ambiance, coupled with the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, creates a deeply moving experience. You stay overnight in Muktinath.
Today, in the early morning, you take time to soak in the tranquil mountain environment and enjoy the sunrise over the majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri (depending on the weather). Then you begin your journey back to Jomsom, retracing the scenic route through the stark yet stunning Mustang landscape. Upon arrival in Jomsom, you take the opportunity to explore the town’s unique blend of Tibetan-influenced culture and traditional Thakali hospitality. You can take a short excursion to the nearby village of Marpha, renowned for its well-preserved stone houses, Buddhist monastery, and delicious apple products. In the evening, you can relax in Jomsom, reflecting on the spiritual experiences of your pilgrimage amid the peaceful mountain surroundings, and stay overnight.
Today, you begin the day with an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, offering one last chance to admire the dramatic mountain vistas from above. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you are transferred to the hotel, where you enjoy a leisurely day to rest and unwind. You may spend the rest of the day exploring the city’s tranquil charms-take a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit the Tal Barahi Temple on its island, or stroll along the lakeside promenade lined with cafes and shops. You can also visit popular spots such as Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda, which provide scenic and spiritual experiences. You stay overnight in Pokhara.
Today, after breakfast, you take a short and scenic flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel. You can relax or enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. You may choose to visit your favorite temples, explore local markets like Thamel for souvenirs, or relax in a café. The day concludes with a farewell dinner at a local Nepali restaurant and travel arrangements to your destination.
On the final day of your journey, a special Trip Conclude Ceremony will be organized by Manaslu Adventure Treks. During this heartfelt event, the team will express gratitude for your participation and acknowledge the memorable experiences shared throughout the adventure. Also, the clients are free to provide feedback, which is valuable for the team to understand their experience and gather insights to improve future trips. As a token of appreciation, a souvenir will be presented to you, symbolizing the lasting memories of your adventure and deep connection to Nepal’s culture and natural beauty.
The day concludes with a final goodbye and transfer arrangements to your onward destination, whether to the airport or your next journey within Nepal. The team will ensure your departure is smooth and filled with warm wishes for future travels.
For trip confirmation, please make a down payment minimum of USD 200.00 or 20% of the total cost. In some cases, the trip cost could be high depending upon the domestic flight or trekking & expedition. In such cases, we will inform you accordingly. Please note that the deposit amount is non-refundable in the case of cancellation. However, the trip could be rescheduled again. The remaining dues must be paid 15 days before departure by bank transfer or on arrival in Kathmandu.
No refund will be made for the initial booking confirmation amount provided under any circumstances of cancellation. However, we offer to reschedule your trip for any other date of next season or within a year. Manaslu Adventure Treks will refund you if you have paid a further amount of the trip cost. If the cancellation is made before 30 days of the trip start date, then, a full refund will be made except the booking confirmation amount. Likewise, a 50% refund will be made on cancellation before 15 days of the trip start date and a 25% refund on the cancellation before 10 days. Furthermore, cancellations made within a week will be considered as no show & no refund will be made.
