Booking Terms & Conditions

Our Goal

Our ultimate goal is to provide our best hospitality based on the available resources. We offer to reflect the best value of the amount paid. Meanwhile, we are trying to uplift the rural and minor communities in Nepal by providing various scholarships to school-going children.

Booking Confirmation

For trip confirmation, please make a down payment minimum of USD 200.00 or 20% of the total cost. In some cases, the trip cost could be high depending upon the domestic flight or trekking & expedition. In such cases, we will inform you accordingly.  Please note that the deposit amount is non-refundable in the case of cancellation. However, the trip could be rescheduled again. The remaining dues must be paid 15 days before departure by bank transfer or on arrival in Kathmandu.

Refund policy

No refund will be made for the initial booking confirmation amount provided under any circumstances of cancellation. However, we offer to reschedule your trip for any other date of next season or within a year. Manaslu Adventure Treks will refund you if you have paid a further amount of the trip cost. If the cancellation is made before 30 days of the trip start date, then, a full refund will be made except the booking confirmation amount. Likewise, a 50% refund will be made on cancellation before 15 days of the trip start date and a 25% refund on the cancellation before 10 days. Furthermore, cancellations made within a week will be considered as no show & no refund will be made.

Note: Written notification of your cancellation must be made to cancel any trip.

You can choose two different ways of making the booking confirmation payment:

Balance Payment & Charge

The remaining trip amount has to be paid at least 15 days before your arrival. If you choose to settle the balance by credit card, a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made (by Overseas Union Bank). There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer. Also, payment by cash on arrival is feasible.

Last-Minute Booking

Last-minute booking is accepted only on Nepal trips. For International trips, booking has to be made at least 2 months before arrival.

Single Supplement

Room or tents are provided twin-sharing on our holiday tour/trek packages. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on a client who does not have or wishes to have another tour participant share a room/tent.

Incomplete Trip

No refund will be made to clients who drop out or wish to drop out from the journey, regardless of portions that remain unused in the itinerary.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Under any unanticipated incidents such as war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavourable weather conditions, etc., if Manaslu Adventure Treks fails to run the trip, without reluctance, we will arrange an alternative trip of a similar kind.

If this doesn’t suit your interest, a full refund will be made. Remember, any other expenses incurred during this trip booking are solely your responsibility.

Guide Responsibility

A trek/tour guide representing Manaslu Adventure Treks bears the authority to make the necessary decisions to make the trip safer and memorable, as well as take the situation under control during unpredictable conditions along with the coordination of the group leader/ coordinator.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you all have comprehensive travel insurance against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellations, etc.

Trip Amendment

Prior notice is requested to make any alterations to any of our trek/tour itineraries. This can be done with the permission of a guide as well as the tour leader. This can happen occasionally, en route under certain circumstances like bad weather, some health-related problems, or any other personal issues, etc.

Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in advance to make the necessary reservations, permits, visas air tickets, etc. We need your constant support for the completion of the necessary paperwork and documentation on time before the start of the trip.

Flight Delay or Cancellation

Flight delays or cancellations are very common in the Himalayan regions like in the Everest region (Lukla)/ Phaplu, Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot, and Jumla regions.  In such a case, your itinerary will be modified with the consultation of a guide and the group leader.
