Pikey Peak Trek is a newly opened trekking route in the Everest region. This leisurely trek offers one of the stunning views of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world. The outstanding terrain as well as the rich vegetation of the Khumbu region puts a cherry on top of the magical experience of Pikey Peak. The Pikey Peak (4067m) came under highlight after Edmund Hillary, the first summiteer of Mt. Everest, said Pikey Peak offers the best views of Mt. Everest.
Along with Mt. Everest, you can see the spectacular views of Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Gaurishankar, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Sishapangma, Thamserku, and Mera peaks from Pikey peak. Khumbu region is famous for Sherpa culture and the Sherpas are well reputed for their perpetually genuine smiles and kindness. However, during this trek, one can have ample opportunity to experience the lifestyle of other Nepalese ethnic communities like Tamang, Chhetri, Gurung, and Rai. Since the trekking route goes less than 4100m from the sea level, there is no risk of high altitude sickness.

The trail is filled with several stupas and gumbas as well as old and rusty yak houses. The forests are dyed red with blossoming rhododendrons during the spring. You stay overnight at Pikey Peak Base Camp.
Today, early morning from base camp, you start trekking for about 1 hour to the famous viewpoint of Pikey Peak. You can enjoy the sunrise and the mesmerizing views of Mt. Everest, Numbur Chuli, Thamserku, Kanchenjunga, Gaurishankar, and Dorje Lakpa.
